"So convenient for an early morning flight . The hotel is just minutes from check in . Restaurants very close for an evening meal."

"We arrived around midnight and finding a parking space was difficult. The hotel looked modern and welcoming on arrival. It was a civil and pretty dour welcome at Reception, unfortunately far from the smiley staff that we’d just experienced in Greece or at the Premier Inn before the holiday. The bedroom was well presented. On closer inspection however there were lots of human hairs still on bedsheets/ pillow cases, on the toilet and the bathroom floor. It didn’t feel as though it has been cleaned very well. It put me off getting into bed if I’m honest. No smile or friendly welcome at breakfast in the morning either. Shame. The offering was good. A range of cooked items and some continental. The coffee was good however no decaff on offer. Paid for the overnight parking at a machine outside. That was also a bit of a faff as it didn’t pick up my details correctly. Would I stay again?… I’m afraid not. It’s back to the Hilton for me or even the Premier Inn."

"There were no pictures advertised on hotels website for the room which we get. I would not book this room if I would been aware about it. Room was very small and very hot. No air conditioning,window was broken,could not open it. If you want to use sink,you have to open "bathroom" door,there is no space at all. Breakfast was very poor. Coffee from the sachets 😱. If you need parking you can park on main road and pay at the mashine if you find space. Other option been given go to the back of the property. It is free but there is nowhere to park. Very bad experience, would not recommend to anyone."

"The Grand is our favourite hotel in Brighton and our first choice when we visit. The staff are always amazing - friendly, accommodating and helpful. The only issue we had this visit was both guest lifts being out of order all weekend with the whole hotel having to use the single small service lift - we were on the 6th floor so this was an unusual disappointment with an otherwise fabulous hotel."
