"Stuff lovely but in a room a lot of dust and two massive spiders. In general place is on great location and atmosphere is really nice. Only improvement I can say it needs is that rooms need to be cleaner. "

Everything from the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, down to the modern rooms was at the highest level of quality, at a very reasonable price. The Tassimo machine in the room was a really nice touch, not come across that before. If we were to find ourselves in that are of the country again, I will definitely be booking for a stay and a meal. Thank you."

"We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was full of character being a Listed Building and The Manager, Tony, gave us a wonderful guided tour of all 15 the bedrooms and the spa in the cellar (which was beautiful). Dinner was absolutely amazing - plus one of the best Full English breakfasts I've ever tasted. The bed was super-comfortable and the bedroom was huge, spacious and beautifully decorated - no two bedrooms were the same - which added to the charm of the hotel. Lovely lounge and fantastic bar...

"Lovely pub and restaurant. Room lovely and clean but didn't need a disabled bathroom and extra lighting that was bright in room at night. Large family group staying next to us, who had early morning meeting in hallway and no soft closing doors so quite noisy. Staff excellent. "
