"This is our second stay at a Citizen M. We also stayed at the Miami location. Great hotels with a touch of minimalism. I like having a tablet to control all the room features. Would recommend this place. Also a good location in town and a good food court next door."

"Upon arriving, I was hit with a hidden fee that added over $100 to my stay. They also charge separately for the cheap breakfast buffet, so I have no idea what the “amenity fee” is supposedly going toward. The hotel itself was awful. The hallways were so dark they felt like something out of The Backrooms. The bathroom was even worse. The toilet was so shallow that my balls dipped in the water from sitting, and it clogged three separate times during normal use. On the third clog, I called the front desk because I could not fix it myself. They sent someone up who mumbled something incoherent, handed me a dirty plunger, and walked away. After I had to plunge it myself, dirty toilet water ended up all over the bathroom floor. When I called asking for towels or something to clean it, I was told I could walk down to the lobby and get them myself. Then they called back and told me to leave the dirty plunger sitting on the rug outside my room for maintenance to pick up. This might be easier to overlook if the hotel were actually as cheap as it appears when booking, but once the hidden fees are added, you are better off paying the same amount to stay somewhere else nearby."
