"There was mold on the bathroom wall. The bathroom door was broken and the toilet too low/small. No iron/coffee. The pool was closed the whole time we were there. Bed wasn't comfortable. I would not recommend staying here."

"We had a wonderful stay on the Queen Mary. All of the staff were awesome. Rooms are exactly what they were when boat docked permanently in Long Beach in 1967. Don’t expect any upgrades, but that is the charm of staying in the hotel. The best part was the entire boat is a museum, everywhere you walked there was an exhibit. The bar was fun to hang out and have cocktails and apps. Breakfast was an option of buffet or order off menu. If you are a history lover, definitely stay the night at the Queen Mary, "

"This hotel is very old and worn down, needs a very good cleaning (look up anywhere in the lobby or room and you will see years worth of dust. Bedside outlets & charging ports did not charge (they just fell out). The fabric chair had multiple stains, even had housekeeping come back into the room to vacuum because the floor had chip crumbs on it, and bring a blanket to cover the chair so we could sit in it. I also pointed out the fire alarm that was hanging from the wall and asked if it is supposed to look that way - the desk guy said he would send maintenance right up to fix, after about 2 hours I gave up waiting. The desk guy was the one to escort us to our room because this was the 3rd time trying to get into the room. General staff was very pleasant and appeared to be working very hard. Tonya with housekeeping was great and brought us everything we needed. Management was not engaged with the guests, I did see them often playing with the ducks in the lobby. The information that I could find for amenities was not the same as the front desk, parking is $35, $40 for valet, but when the lot is full (which it was) you need to park a couple blocks down the road and you walk back. The main reason I booked this hotel is it showed free shuttle to the cruise port (but only one of the ports, not the other). I also wanted to be able to do some laundry at the self-serve laundry which I found out was not available."

"First two nights I was in room 136. First night was ok. The next day, workers were hammering and nailing right next to my room and this disturbed me for many hours. I work on my computer and talk on the phone and this noise was a real problem. On the 2nd reservation, I was moved to Room 118, maybe the worst room in the hotel. The two windows faced the alleyways and several trash dumpsters. I heard the constant sound of vehicles in the alleyways and the sound of people and dumpster divers and others going into the dumpsters. This kept me up off and on for hours. People and barking dogs and vehicles could be constantly heard outside the windows. This is the worse experience I have ever had in a hotel room. Though this may not be a big deal, the TV remote control did not completely work. I told the front desk and they couldn’t do anything about it. One time I walked into the bathroom and a cockroach was running across the floor. During the evening I was hearing a loud buzz coming into the room. I tried to figure out where it was coming from. Finally I zeroed into the refrigerator as the source of the buzz. I had grocery items in there. I turned down the coldness number and finally the buzz disappeared. And all the other noises kept going on and on. Finally, there was a spotlight of some sort in the alleyway which came through the window and this window had no shade on it. I had to deal with that as well all night long. "
