"Not great value for the price. The hotel had clearly been recently redone in some areas, so parts of it looked very nice aesthetically, but a lot of things didn’t feel very functional. The marble shower, updated sinks, and small kitchenette in the room were beautiful, and the bed was comfortable with a nice TV setup. Attempting to check in BEFORE 5 pm, lobby door was locked, got voicemail on all phone numbers called, never received check-in instructions via text. Finally, the desk clerk unlocked the lobby door stating she was busy with an IT issue but made me continue to wait to receive room code. She then stated that because I booked via Expedia she did not have my phone number to contact me...hmmmm"

"This hotel was charming! if you love history and antiques, this is the place for you. The 100+ year old elevator alone is worth booking this hotel. We had a beautiful bay facing view that was great! The room was period antique but not stuffy and the hotel owner Katie showed pride of ownership in all the details."

"The location of the cabin was excellent. We had an unobstructed view of the ocean and access to the beach. However, the steps were very steep making entering difficult. The shower needs repairs. It was hard to turn the water on and off."
