Enjoyed a different part of Ha Noi. Line was very warm & hospitable as host. Furnishings are pretty. Many areas, especially upstairs outdoor lounge were very unclean & needed wiping & sweeping to use, so we didn't, which is unfortunate as the lake view from roof is lovely. I'm not sure how hotels get a particular star rating. We usually stay in 3***hotels and this is not that. Very simple, basic abode, more a rooming house as no one lives there, so not a home as such. Rather difficult if a problem occurs to contact staff. I would rate it 1* given : no in room safe, minimal toiletries, water in glass bottle, old and inoperable air conditioner as settings cannot be changed, flimsy window glass allows outside traffic noise, shower pressure low & bathroom/toilet wet after use. I wouldn't stay here again, very overpriced for what is provided.
