I had a wonderful 3-night stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake. The hotel is beautifully located over the lake, offering peaceful views and a relaxing atmosphere away from the busy city. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. Staff were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, making the stay feel effortless from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of options. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Great complex built on a lake on concrete columns however it is not a new complex and bit outdated, if you are looking for a modern new hotel, this is not for you. Our room and bathroom was a good size with a large balcony which had a table and 2 chairs. Staff were very nice and friendly, we found in Vietnam people are very friendly and kind, we haven’t had a bad experience during our 3 weeks trip last year and 2 weeks into our almost 3 weeks trip.

My stay at InterContinental Hanoi Westlake was excellent. The location is peaceful and perfect for a relaxing trip, with beautiful lake views and easy access to nearby cafes and walking areas. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and professional. Room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable throughout my stay. Breakfast was great overall with plenty of variety, though I wish there were more halal options available. Aside from that, everything was perfect, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Hanoi.

The breakfast was an amazing thread, with foods from all over the world, representing many cultures. The drink options were expansive, with several juices, teas, coffees, different milk (skim, low fat, whole). They also had a cook that would make you any kind of egg you wanted, including eggs benedfict, upon request. Very nice.

Great Stay

The hotel is in a great location by the lake, and is only a short taxi from the old quarter. Service is excellent, and I would definitely stay again. The property is looking a little old however, and would benefit from a refurbishment.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and we loved the sunset bar and restaurant. The room amenities had everything including a sewing kit which came in handy. I would definitely recommend it to friends and stay there again if in Hanoi.
