Great location! Great staff! Decent breakfast included and very reasonable rates. It’s an older property and is showing its age but the price and location make up for that. Also, don’t expect a view.
OVERALL 10/10!!!. The hotel was really clean, cool feel to it. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly and accommodating. This is truly a hidden gem and rare find. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great hotel, in the perfect location (both touristy and nightlife)
LOCATION: 10/10. My first time in Hanoi and this was the PERFECT place to stay. Centrally located in Old Quarters. Right behind Beer Street (far enough to avoid all the noise, close enough for the walk). 5-10 min walk to the train street, there’s restaurants and shops all around this area.
Casa dos Príncipes has an excellent location, close to everything, including Beer Street, making it very convenient. The staff are extremely helpful and accommodating. While the rooms feel a bit dated and could use some remodeling, the overall experience was great. I highly recommend it for its accessibility and welcoming service.
The stay at this hotel was a 10/10.
The people working at the reception was very welcoming, smiling and very warm, they proposed a lot of services and great recommendations for free. You can go eyes closed!
Coming into the lobby was a beautiful oasis from the chaos of the Hanoi streets. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. They went above and beyond to ensure every need was taken care of. Manager Dinh was such a professional and really cares about his clients staying at the hotel.
All the staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The manager Mr. Dinh Le ensure that our group of 19 were taken care of with transportation from the airport to making sure we had everything we needed in our room to giving helpful dining experience options.
We had a memorable time at the hotel and the rooms were extremely clean and would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Hanoi.
Hotel entrance is tucked in a small alley, there is a minimart close by, it is also close to night market, beer street, and the lake. Everything is pretty much a walking distance, and the hotel is accessible to Grab. The staff were wonderful and friendly. The bed is comfortable, we had a great rest every single night. The spa is fairly new as explained by the staff, if you need pedi/manicure services there’s no chair inside just 2 massage beds without curtain partitions. Overall they did their best to accommodate our requests. Thank you as well for letting us sit in the lobby while we wait for our ride, and for offering to call the bus company or arrange a new transportation when we were having trouble getting a hold of them.

Liked: Staff & service, amenities
Great accommodations really, with very hot water available. Staff was great as well. Only con was the renovations going on in upper levels of hotel. Even though we were on the 2nd floor, every morning at 7:30 we were woken by drills and banging. Unable to use the rooftop area or lounge.
The old quarter can have all the convenience of the excursions picking you up direct at hotel. Very lively at night but safe in the area. Lots of ahopping and dealing options. Plenty of food close by. The staff was very nice and helpful. The organize me transportation to the airport and gave me a little sometjing to bring to eat since i was leaving so early.
Definitely wonderful service
Hotel is in a good location. Staff was accommodating in switching us from the room overlooking the lobby as mentioned in other reviews. The Owner or manager screamed at the staff that my wife could wait or come back tomorrow when she asked for a second key for the room. He apparently wanted to have a staff meeting. For this incredible act of unprofessionalism I recommend seeking lodgings at one of the many other comparable properties at or below the same price point. The other hotel staff were a pleasure.
We booked three rooms and two of the rooms the aircon was broken . As the staff were fixing this at check in time , we waited for 3 hour in the lobby for this to be fixed and we were desperate for a shower and home comforts as we had been in a remote and basic location prior . Although the staff were lovely and friendly and doing their best we would have anplrohonesty. Instead , we waited and were told it would be 5-10 more mins when we ended up waiting for hours and hours . Cranky and not being able to explore Hanoi as we were only there for a short time. Staff were not upfront and we would have preferred to be able to sort the problem by changing hotels early on. We ended up showering In The room as the workmen fixed the air on and went to dinner in Hanoi. Only to return at 1130pm and be told the aircon in one room was unable to be fixed so the staff helped us change hotels. It was just a messy situation that was amplified by lack of direction communication and honesty. The rooms apart from this were lovely although looking at other walls of hotels , no views and no balconies in the rooms allocated to us.
