"Superb hotel full of character. Our room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable. We dined in the restaurant and were very impressed with the choice offered particularly for my husband who is coeliac and has to have gluten free. Every member of staff we engaged with were so polite and friendly. Our stay was an absolute delight."

"Rooms were clean and fresh and breakfast was very good. What wasn’t so good was that bath towel was damp, either from not being changed or not dried thoroughly. We found the mattress quite hard and sleeping was not helped by the people above us running round at 12:30 pm- assume it was children,"

"I booked suite room 251 and unfortunately the air conditioning in the bedroom wasn’t working. This meant I didn’t get a good night’s sleep. There was a fan but no air conditioning. I mentioned this to reception in the morning and they assured me they were aware and that’s why there was a fan. However when I checked in reception hadn’t mentioned this issue. If they had I would have asked for a smaller room with working air conditioning. This wasn’t great service."

"Booked a two night stay to be close to Adrenaline Alley - just over a 5 minute drive. Hotel room very spacious and clean. Requested a mini fridge in the room which was in the room when we arrived. Lovely and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again."

"If I were to book again, I would ask for a ground floor room with air conditioning. The elevator is for luggage only, and a person with limited mobility would find the stairs (although very wide, carpeted and with handrails) a challenge. The restaurant is great for breakfast or dinner. The pool is very nice, heated and outdoors. Very helpful staff. The hotel is apparently a popular wedding venue, it was very busy the day we checked out."

"I liked our room it was large had every facility you could need available in it, the bathroom had a bath and shower and was so clean it glistned as was the main room. The meal at our function was beautifully presented and tasted amazing, the staff were all so friendly and helpful. The pub attacked next to the hotel was lovely We sat. "Lovely little place in a really peaceful setting. It's also great to see a company embrace sustainability as well. However, this is also their downfall as well! Unfortunately we were booked in during the hottest weekend of the year so far over May bank holiday and the only room that had proper aircon was reception! The rest of the place was like an oven. It was awful and uncomfortable, just for this aspect alone. The standard rooms, in comparison to Holiday Inns and Premiere Inns, and even...

"The Holiday Inn was very clean & smart, plus saff were excellent & they went out their way to help us retain our room for a second night. Our only "minor" criticism was the food selection for the evening meal. We felt there was not enough choice & needed more variety."

"Check in was easy, room was okay for price , I asked to add some nice touches as it was my anniversary and I’d pay extra, they just left a note on the bed. Could not use the swimming pool as advertised on the booking as swimming lessons were being done. Staff didn’t tell me that even though they gave me towels and told me where the pool was."

"Parking was easy. Plenty of space, We received a warm friendly greeting from the receptionist. She was very helpful. Our room was clean and tidy. We will book a queen size bed next time and ask for a quilt to be put on the mattress as we found the bed a little hard. Breakfast was comprehensive and good quality. Sadia the lady working this morning was very helpful. All in all, we were impressed with the hotel and will be staying again"
