Very friendly staff, good facilities at the hotel when you bring a takeaway back, ie hotel will provide you with plates, knives and forks, lovely view on the front and a nice bistro next to the hotel.

Very friendly welcome and very approachable and helpful. Room was good size. Bed and bedding fine. Breakfast simple but adequate. It needed topping up quicker though. Parking spaces got filled up quickly but you can park on the grass out front. Main gripe was bathroom which needed updating as it was very mouldy.

Lovely warm reception when I arrived, which was nice and the staff were very helpful throughout my stay. The outside area around the hotel was very neglected, which didn’t give a great impression but the rooms were very clean, if a little tired and in need of some re-furnishing. For the price paid, and the cleanliness of the room, I would definitely stay here again. Would just be nice if the area around the hotel was a bit tidier as a wrecked car was even sitting in the parking area around the back.

The room was spacious and included a sofa plus comfortable bed. Good shower. Staff on the front desk were welcoming and very apologetic, since the wifi was not available until late in the evening of my arrival. Breakfast was very basic and self-service in the entrance hallway. The staff had limited knowledge about local restaurants for evening meals.

Excellent value for money with everything you need for an overnight stay. Included breakfast was very welcome too. Really friendly staff. An easy place to get to only a few miles from Stamford. No doubt we'll stay again.

Very clean. Comfy bed. Very quiet. Great shower. Good free parking. Great value. Coffee and tea in the room. The breakfast is basic - instant coffee, tea, orange and apple juice, basic cereals, cheap brown and white bread / toast, butter and strawberry jam. No dairy free / vegan / gluten free food / milk available. But, for the price, still very good value.
