"Ockenden manor was beautiful and staff very accommodating and friendly. We were also upgraded at check in which was a nice surprise. The room was beautifully designed, and bathroom and bedding were clean, although we did find two pieces of rubbish left behind by a previous guest in the room. "Excellent hotel that is highly recommend. We stay here probably once a year and have done now for a number of years. The location is fantastic. Pretty much opposite the pier and a couple of minutes walk into The Laines out the back of the hotel. Cracking views over the sea front from the front of the hotel. Handy car park underneath the hotel. Rooms are always good. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is excellent. Think I’d struggle to justify staying anywhere else in Brighton."
