"Excellent location, right at thr gate of old Mdina. The hotel staff is very friendly amd welcoming. Thr room itself is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the location is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute walk from the bus terminal which can take you all over Malta ( airport, all the ports, valletta an so on) . "

"Spent two days here, very quiet town, very clean hotel with lovely caring staff. Roof top pool wonderful, with great views and cocktails. Ghaxaq is a quiet town with few dining out options, but if you’re looking for somewhere quiet away from the busyness of Valetta, highly recommend. Close to airport too. "

"A very warm and friendly welcome from the owners. Individually and tastefully furnished room. Very comfortable bed and an excellent shower in the ensuite. Breakfast was warm croissant, cold meats, toast, scrambled egg, fresh orange juice, and coffee. There were also pastries on offer, and jams, marmalades, cereals, and muesli. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again."

"Staff very kind, really bad experience when needed beach towels, a clothes iron or a hair dryer you need to have 20 Euro cash in order to pay a deposit that will be return as soon as you return the item back to the reception. I suggested Credit card they said not possible, another currency which I have on hand they said not possible either.     "All of the Restaurant Staff From Villa Corinthia and Secret Garden were all so attentive and accomodating. It shows hiw much they love what they are doing. The Front Desk Staff not so much, we have a 2 PM check in but our luggages were left in the morning because the room was ready and once the room became available they were Not Able to Anticipate of bringing our luggages in the room. We came from a 14 hours flight and of course we want to freshen up, but we waited and waited for more than 30 minutes until we are almost dozing off and one of us has to go back down to retrieve the luggages. Rooms are clean and amenities are top notch including the Athenaeum Spa."
