"Good location in princeville, pools and hot tubs and game area were great. 2-room suite was spacious and comfortable. Food trucks on the property were not that great, especially the coffee cart one. Only downside was no other restaurants/bars on the property, especially by the pool which would have been nice. Also, be aware when booking as a hotel, there is still no daily housekeeping service. "

"Our stay was perfect. The staff at HCR made us feel very welcome and at home. The after hours check in was super easy too! The room (D1) we had overlooked the entire courtyard to the ocean. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans. I would say if you are considering preparing a lot of your own food, bring a sharp knife. We also would suggest replacing the dustpan in D1. The room was clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The coffee shop was also a real treat. Wonderful people making wonderful coffee and lots of beautiful artwork to peruse as well. We sampled the pool, hot tub, the coffee house, the secret restaurant that we will never forget. It was truly an unforgettable experience. The staff on the resort were all kind, welcoming and gracious with their time. The beach….. it was beautiful the entire time. Whether it was raining and windy or warm and sunny, everyday the beach delivered. We cannot wait to go back!! Thank you HCR!! "

"The grounds and location are heaven! It’s like you are living in the jungle with mountain view’s. Units are nice and spacious. The staff is great! Our only negative is the roosters all night noise. but that is all of Kauai. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Amazing value for the price! "
