"The hot tub was fantastic and inside which was great, lovely and relaxing. The cottage was really beautiful, upside down which I loved. Very peaceful, but there were mouldy patches around the base of the shower and we noticed a few cobwebs. We couldn't find a bowl for use in the microwave. Just a couple of small niggles really. We enjoyed our stay and had a lovely couple of days."

The lady on arrival was really welcoming, the girl looking after us for food was very attentive and the gentleman who welcomed us at breakfast was delightful. "The hotel is well situated and offers a convenient base for the local area. I would also like to commend the night staff, who were exceptionally professional, understanding, and accommodating throughout our stay. However, our experience in Room 11 was deeply unsettling. During the night, my partner was abruptly woken and believed she had been physically touched, which caused her considerable distress. When we raised this with staff, we were informed that similar reports had been made...

"I couldn't have picked a better place to stay – this hotel is in the perfect location! Whether I was heading out to explore the hubbub or grab a bite at nearby restaurants, everything was just outside the door. The room was stylish, with little touches that make a stay feel special. The decor was fresh and the space was laid out really well. The staff were helpful and friendly. I’d definitely stay here again."

"Gorgeous location. Big room with comfy bed and good bathroom. Cosy bar and we enjoyed a lovely meal. Nice walk into the tiny village for cafe and another pub. Good value. If you’re not a dog person it’s worth noting there were a lot of guests with dogs."
