Very creaky rooms, I could hear the next-door people quite clearly walking about on the squeaky floorboards and even talking. I dread to think what it would be like in a fire – very confusing interior layout and no signs to the staircases, so that you can easily get lost. Not enough parking either. "The room we were allocated was very dated and tired. The mattress was old, sagging and not comfortable. The bathroom was equally poor with black mould on the paintwork, loose loo roll holder, insufficient loo paper for two guests over two nights and not restocked! The drench shower was right over the bath tap controls and not thermostatically controlled. My wife nearly got scalded trying to adjust the over bath shower.
