"We had a very disappointing stay at this hotel and have yet to hear back from a Manager regarding the numerous complaints we had with the service experienced. To begin with, I will note the positives: Clean room Friendly staff Beautiful views Now the negatives: Upon checking into our room at 7pm (following a telephone conversation had earlier in the morning regarding our children and dog joining us) we discovered that the extra beds were not in our room ready for our children to sleep on....

"A beautiful hotel in an incredible location, with lovely spa facilities that are worth a visit. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. That said, for a hotel of this calibre, we did notice a few areas where the experience fell short of expectations. Small touches — like having the tea tray refreshed without needing to ask — are the kind of details that elevate a stay, and we found ourselves having to prompt for these. "Ugh, what a disaster! So, I booked this place for two nights, right? Get there, and the main door to the key lockbox is jammed shut. Called the host like fifteen times, and nada—no answer. Had to scramble to find another place 'cause my girlfriend's pregnant, and we couldn't just hang around. To top it off, they wouldn't give me a refund! Had to fight it through my bank. Seriously, avoid this place like the plague. No one answers, and it feels like a total scam. "

"Such a wonderful property, and the rooms are so very clean and comfortable. We slept so well, and were treated quite nicely. Kate is such a lovely host, and her brekkie is top-notch. We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall. Thank you much for such a great stay!"
