"One of the most beautiful hotel"

"Clean rooms and nice enough staff. What's wrong with motels that make you beg for maid service, then in won't be until the NEXT day? Would have been 5 stars if not for that. Seems to be a standard in Texas? They need to do better. Beach goers need daily clean towels to shower and fresh sheets. Tiny outdoor pool, don't expect much. It's good the ocean is right across the street. Decent continental breakfast, but no bagels and cream cheese which is disappointing for me. I would stay here again,...

"I tried to cancel a few hours after booking, but because I booked the same day, the employee told me I could not cancel. So, I checked in, while he listened to music on his earpods. As everyone said, the walls really are almost paper-thin. You can hear every single word of the television show that the person next to you is watching. So, you can bet that whoever is in the room over can also hear any conversation you might be having. I couldn't see the surrounding area well because I arrived late...

" We love staying at Scarlet Pearl because of the bright open feel from the time we walk in. The staff are always friendly, the rooms ate amazing and comfortable, we can play late in the casino and find a snack to take to the room without leaving property. "

"Great location, however the room was a long walk from the lifts and they had an unexpected 25USD service charge upon check in. Then had a weird check out experience. Nothing too bad or good. "

"It is a classic old school hotel with an incredibly helpful staff. The Carousel Lounge is so much fun. Hard to get a seat on Friday or Saturday, but worth the wait if you can finally get in. My wife wanted a nice souvenir of our trip and called to ask if she could buy the logoed trash can in our room. They didn't even treat that as the crazy request it was and sold it to her. Can't say enough good things about our 3 night stay."

"The room was just as I expected it. It was nice, quiet, clean and spacious. Just steps away from bourbon street without the noise. The front door kitties are nice. The staff are super helpful and nice as well. The only drawback was my hubby is 6'5" and he had to duck some in the bathroom and shower. That is the nature of older buildings though."

"The room that I was given was too small. For the price that was paid for being on the beach, the room is expected to be an average size. This was not. Also, the walls are paper thin, literally. You could hear EVERY MOVEMENT AND WORD that was said from outside and adjoining rooms. Recommendation is a last resort. "

"Our friends recommended The Palace as they stayed there and enjoyed it. It is a non-smoking Casino Resort which was great. "For our stay, the breakfast was not included, but when we ate there, the food was delicious (especially the creamy grits) and the service was fast and courteous. We had a couple of minor issues with the TV and the phone in the room (the phone wouldn't have mattered except that I was calling about the TV), but someone came up right away and got the TV going. "Very clean. Comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Good breakfast, REAL EGGS not powdered!! Nice, clean pool. It wss fun to imagine what the place was like back in it's heyday when Marilyn Monroe and Robert Kenedy walked the halls. Tge history of the place adds to the charm. I brought a friend who only stays in Hiltons.... they would absolutely book here again!! That is the HIGHEST compliment!"
