"This lovely little area of Castelvetro was a pleasure to stay in! The Locanda rooms were spacious and had nice amenities for coffee and tea. The living area was a nice addition to our space with lively decor. The toilet area is small but well appointed. If you want a romantic dinner reserve a table in the wine cellar. "Staying here was an awesome experience, if even for a day. We arrived late in the evening and the owner Mario was so very accommodating and informative. We stayed in the side house, an interesting property with its centuries-old design. We could feel the history in every room. It was very comfortable, very roomy and the amenities made us feel right at home. The drive up may intimidate some (if during at night), as it winds up the mountain side, but staying there is well worth it. Thank you Mario...

"The food was exceptional. We ate dinner all three days in hotel, and each meal was delicious. The staff was friendly and so nice; they went out of their way to help us as needed. I hope to come back and stay again."

"The only issue I experienced was with the television. The remote control did not work. The staff tried to replace it, but that replacement did not work. The third remote worked intermittently, the television only responded after pressing the buttons multiple times. It was almost impossible to navigate the channel guide. I gave up and by that time the reception was unstaffed."

"Hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Parkplatz im Hof, vorherige Kontaktaufnahme per WhatsApp, damit sichergestellt werden konnte, dass ein Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption ist. Zimmer geräumig. Im Hof eine kleine Sitzecke, um die Sonne zu genießen. Wir haben das Frühstück nicht genutzt, daher kann ich dazu nichts sagen. Bei Abreise haben wir einen Kaffee erhalten, sehr nett - danke!"

"This is a really fun Ferrari themed hotel about 2 miles from the Ferrari factory and museum. The breakfast every morning was the star of the show. Amazing food! The staff was also very helpful and friendly. They were able to call us a taxi each morning and that was nice. The room was pretty small and difficult to open up our suitcases, but we made it work and weren’t in the room for very long. Very comfortable beds too!"

"Das Hotel ist in einem gutem Zustand, die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet und es gibt eine Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher. Kaffee und Tee stand zur Verfügung. Einen Flaschenöffner gab es nicht auf dem Zimmer und auf Nachfrage sowohl an der Rezeption als auch in der Bar, war es nicht möglich einen Flaschenöffner zu bekommen (was ich als sehr enttäuschend empfand). Der Spa Bereich ist Aufpreispflichtig, was nirgends in der Beschreibung stand. Was ich ebenfalls als enttäuschend empfand....

"We liked this place so much that we booked it again on our second swing by Bologna. This is the PERFECT base if you are doing the cheese and acetto tours, plus it is a gorgeous classical Italian country villa. The parking is a bit confusing, and the is hardly any signs that point you to the check-in office, but it is a minor issue UNLESS you arrive after 8pm.
