It was overall good, however with tint of smoke smell. Boking was done through hotels.com, when request for amendment for one of my booking, hotel staff wasn't able to assist.

I decided to stay here again because of my pleasant experience in my last trip at Doubletree. However, this time time round of staying in this hotel, the experience was unpleasant and unacceptable. I registered in the morning but was told that the room was not ready and I will have to come back in the afternoon. However, upon coming back to the hotel, around 4pm, I was served by Wendy Wu at the reception and she was extremely rude. She said that we already checked in this morning and the room was dirty that's why we didn't check in. However I told her that that was not the case as we haven't even gotten our room key. She just kept insisting that the room was dirty that's why we didn't check in and started being rude and aggressive in her tone. She then threw the card key on the counter which was so rude. Upon checking the card, she also only provided one card. I had to go back to the counter to ask another receptionist for assistance as there were 2 of us. I really am very upset with how rude Wendy Wu was. I don't think this is how the service of Doubletree by Hilton should be. I am just so angry, upset and feeling unacceptable at how the service standard of this hotel is now. I called reception and made a formal complaint. They tried to make up for the situation and as the lady apologied. I eventually left after 1 hour because the room aircon wasn't working. Too fedup by the whole experience.

My second stay this month. There was few issues with the room’s maintenance at the first time but they took care of that and I gave them perfect review. This time they tried to make us leave since they had high demand for higher rates. They were rude, gave us poor room despite that we paid for executive. They don’t even let you seat in some areas of the lobby if you don’t order food.

🌏 Un séjour extraordinaire en Chine ! Un voyage absolument remarquable et une très belle découverte ! La Chine est un pays fascinant, à la pointe de la technologie, avec une population d’une gentillesse exceptionnelle. Nous nous sommes sentis en parfaite sécurité tout au long de notre séjour. Concernant l’hôtel, c’était tout simplement extraordinaire. Le personnel est bienveillant, attentionné et très réactif. Mention spéciale aux voituriers, notamment leur responsable, d’un grand professionnalisme, ainsi qu’aux femmes de chambre, d’une propreté exemplaire et d’une délicatesse rare, toujours avec de petits mots attentionnés. Le service, la nourriture, l’accueil — tout était parfait du début à la fin. Nous avons eu la chance d’occuper une chambre au 33ᵉ étage (n°3318) avec une vue exceptionnelle : un véritable bonheur ! 👉 Seul petit point d’amélioration : il serait agréable d’ajouter quelques canapés ou fauteuils dans le hall, afin que les clients puissent attendre confortablement leur taxi ou passer un appel. L’espace le permet largement, et cela rendrait l’attente encore plus plaisante. Mais à part ce léger détail, aucun défaut à signaler : un séjour parfait ! This hotel was clean and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. 10/10 recommend for business travel. Although no malls were in the immediate area, Its 10mins didi from everywhere

Overall the stay was good. Easy to access by DiDi taxi. However there are no decent restaurants nearby. The hotel itself has kept reasonable clean and staff are friendly and nice.
