In my 20 years of travel experience, the service at JW Marriott Guadalajara stands out as one of the best in Mexico. The attention to detail and warm hospitality made our stay truly memorable. The Sunday breakfast was a highlight, featuring traditional Mexican dishes like Tortas Ahogadas and Pozole—prepared fresh, with minimal fat, and of excellent quality. A perfect way to enjoy local cuisine in a refined and health-conscious way. The fitness center is top-notch, equipped with some of the best machines I’ve seen, and offers an unbeatable panoramic view. The hotel’s central location, just steps away from the beautiful Midtown shopping center full of restaurants and boutiques, made everything incredibly convenient. We also loved the heated pool with its amazing view—our whole family enjoyed it. Without a doubt, we’ll be coming back!

We had the most amazing weekend in Guadalajara. The hotel is so clean and gorgeous! The staff was all super friendly, from the cleaning ladies to reception, valet, doorman, bartenders. I took a weekend trip with my teenage daughter and she said this is by far the best hotel she’s ever stayed at. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you JW Marriott!!

Great place to stay in Guadalajara! Location is central to pretty much everywhere you may want to go in GDL. The staff can't be more friendly or helpful. No hesitation in recommending it. Only non-positive comment is that their own Marriott website can offer the worst price (i.e., highest--and by a lot). It is a shame since it would be great to be able to book directly and know that you are getting a fair deal.

The room and views were great, the gym and exec floor as well. The overall experience of staff was really fantastic. We sadly had a very disappointing experience. I had left my ipad on the bed (plainly visible, not under any sheets) after reading the morning newspaper. The next morning I am looking for my ipad, and look everywhere thinking it had fallen under the bed. We called the front desk to report it and they call us back a while later asking what it looks like (we said, it looks like an ipad, and a big tag on it with my email printed). Later on, they say (30 hours after the fact) that they found the ipad in the laundry service. We are not amused. It took them 30 hours to realize and asked odd questions (as if they wanted to know which of many ipads?). We hope that this will be investigated as it seems to be a method of stealing.
