"The owners greeted me on arrival at this lovely guesthouse and showed me to my room. The bed was very comfortable. It is an old building so quirky room sizes but beautifully renovated and maintained. Good shower clean bathroom. Great home cooked breakfast. I would definitely stay again"

"Sadly, this was a bad experience. I booked via Expedia where the hotel was advertising a Michelin trained chef and a restaurant. I travelled solo 145 miles for a two night break purely because of this. Upon arrival, I was disappointed to learn the restaurant closed last year. I expressed this disappointment in very civil tones, explaining this was the only reason for my visit. Well-equipped kitchen, huge dining room and living room with stairs leading down to the second bedroom. Main bedroom on the main level is lovely and very comfortable. Lots of storage allows you to unpack. The living room furniture could be replaced; the cushions are shot and furniture smells musty....
