We enjoyed our stay everything was perfect for our birthday getaway, could not fault anything really welcoming, we will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

The property is well maintained and very clean , we found the room spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a good choice of items to order. The host James was very professional and happy to advise on the area . Close to the cliff lift to the spa, and we found the area nice for walking around Scarborough. The public transport links are close by , you can easily leave the car parked and enjoy a driving free break. We would fully recommend the waves for a short or longer break

Emma and Chris are wonderful hosts. Breakfast was delicious and varied, we could walk to several restaurants and the beaches, the neighborhood is quiet (except a few seagulls). The Waves is a lovely place to relax after a busy day exploring this beautiful area. We highly recommend it

Fantastic hosts at this superb, comfortable property. Every possible need is catered for. The breakfast is amazing. The little touches and the quality and condition of the fixtures, fittings, soft furnishings etc really sets this place apart from the crowd. No negatives here at all.

Emma contacted me unprompted to see what time I would be arriving, which was a nice courtesy. Enjoyed a nice slice of homemade cake with my tea upon arrival. Nice touch! My single room was ideal for a solo overnight stay. Comfortable and warm. Excellent breakfast included plenty of tempting options, all served in the spacious breakfast room. I would highly recommend Waves.

Emma was an amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was really tasty and being able to choose your breakfast items and time to eat in advance was wonderful. The juke box in the guest lounge was also a delight. I would really recommend this.

Me and the wife had a 2 night stay and everything was absolutely spot on. The room, the breakfast, cleanliness and décoration of the place was very impressive. Chris and Emma really go out the way to make sure you have everything you need without been to intrusive if you know what I mean. Seriously, it would have been difficult to find a fault at all. Only downside was the seagulls squawking all night as I think it must be nesting season or something, and we needed the window open as it was hot weather, but most of Scarborough were suffering this as well lol.
