Just you have to add on your budget for the cable from Grindelwald to First round trip of CHF 57 for 2 adults with Swiss Pass(children aged below 16 free if travel with parent). This saves time if time is limited for you. Option is to walk from Grindelwald to hotel and from hotel to First but it takes time."

Instead of being helpful, the staff came across as dismissive and at times outright rude. Hospitality is supposed to make guests feel comfortable, but this was the complete opposite. "We were upgraded to the Panorama Suite complete with lounge room, full width panoramic windows and balcony. Could ask for better views of the mountains. Staff were great and buffet breakfast was great. A must stay at this hotel."

"Its up the strip. The entire riom and hotwl decore is very nice. Breakfast was modest. Overall fair, but for the price you can probably get something better either up in the mountains or up the hill. "
