"Disappointed to have pre booked supper requesting a window table to be sat in the middle of the restaurant.
The shower needs attention! The shower rose was so blocked you couldn’t use it, it was leaking from the arm joint, and the handheld was exactly that, you had to hold it as the riser rail was broken!
Luckily I have a soft spot for this hotel and the geese will always make you smile in the car park "

"We are an elderly couple & had a four hour journey through difficult weather.
A staff member happened to be outside when we arrived & unasked, helped with parking, unloaded our luggage & took it to our room. On registering we were invited to rest in the lounge, served tea & assisted with telephoning. The room was very comfortable & clean. Breakfast excellent. All the staff were well turned out, friendly & helpful. On departure our luggage was carried from our room & placed in our car. "
"The staff were wonderful, and the location can't be beat. We unwound each night with a half-pint on the beautiful terrace that is set along the riverbank. The building is a lovely old hodge-podge of levels. We were at the top of it, which involves a stairs-climb that could be hard for some. There is ample parking (very welcome!). Our Family room was lovely , very comfortable with everything you needed for your stay . Plenty of tea, coffee, water, milk & lovely biscuits layed out on display . Tv , comfy beds & towels, soaps shower gel etc supplied .

"I was in Devon for just a one night stay at The Globe. The bed was super comfy and tbe bedroom and bathroom were very clean. The cooked breakfast was delicious and to much for me to manage. "
"A beautiful old Dartmoor Inn in a very pretty village location. Terrific range of local ales and ciders and great food. Lovely walk in shower, but needs a corner shelf for toiletries. Paintwork needs touching up in places, but, overall, a wonderful, comgortanle plce to stay."
