"We had an awesome stay at this quaint little motel that sends you back in time. The bed slept great and the room was clean. We had a huge window that looked out over the river. There is a nice covered pavilion with gliders and picnic tables, fire ring and grills right by the river for your enjoyment. "I am obsessed with the property and the bus! My husband and I stayed for a night with our three toddlers while taking a night off from section hiking the AT.
We all slept in the king bed in the back which was INSANELY comfortable.
The hosts are a super sweet little family. Our laundry was done for a small fee very quickly. Communication with the hosts was excellent. They provided so much helpful information on local places to visit for after our hike.

"We originally booked a room for 2 nights online and the web showed us a room with jacuzzi and river view. We got there and had a regular room with a small tub and kudzu blocking our river view on First floor. Was not happy so we spoke to owners son who quickly moved us to the second floor with a jacuzzi and awesome view of river. He was very kind and helpful. My husband loved the river and trout fished for two days!! Very convenient to everything and very clean room. Will definitely stay there...
