For the price, you cant beat it. Perfect location for the Great Smoky Mnts and/or Blue Ridge Parkway. Very friendly staff. My room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

Check in person was very quiet but that is ok. It took about 5 minutes for him to come to the desk. Small breakfast but again ok. The high point is we saw the elk in the parking lot. We had the disability room which was great to shower my 96 year old I was traveling with. Granny’s Restaurant buffet was good. Basic food but a selection. Off to Mingo Falls because a short hike and the 96 year old can wait in the car.

I found this place just right for a quick stayed. Nestled near the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and Blue Ridge Parkway with a free self-parking. At our arriving we were switched from a king room to a queen one, but the gentleman gave us a discount for the disruption that this may cause. Location was inconvenient, there was a fair just next to the hotel and traffic was horrendous and noisy. Breakfast was limited and can use some help. The room was kept clean and nice, the beds were surprisingly comfortable, but still it is an old hotel.
