"Lovely property I’m giving a lower score because our first night and employee let himself into our room while we were sleeping!! He knocked first then entered with fresh towels at midnight which we never asked for. This was unacceptable!! Second night we got another unexpected knock when sleeping again saying it was engineering and did our card not work or was door not responding? My answer was NEITHER! We never called about any key issue. We would have loved to give 5 stars as the hotel is...

"We loved our stay at the Belle Claire! The hotel was charming and clean, located in a great area. The staff were friendly and helpful. The coffee shop was wonderful too! Definitely will be staying again when we visit."

"There were bedbugs on the mattress. I got bit several times at night, in the morning sure enough I found the bug. I put it in a napkin and took it to the front desk where they said they'll send it to the lab to get more information. The next day, on a Saturday, they called and said it was not a bedbug. After my own research and based on the bites I was assured that it was in fact a bedbug. My entire trip was ruined and I had to move to another hotel."

"The hotel is a vintage hotel, very small town 90’s feeling , has lots of charm and in a great location , supermarkets, cafes, restaurants and the subway station a block away, the only thing is that the room has a little smell, like old and the carpet tho I know it’s clean it just did t feel that’s way Over all I would stay there again, just bring air freshener lol"
