"Spacious, comfortable room situated close to an event we were attending (5-10 minute drive). Room well equipped - brewing facilities are always a big bonus!
Breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a good choice of items - some more visible guidance near the toaster would be helpful for those unfamiliar with the make and how it works.
The only stressful aspect of the stay was lack of parking space letter on the Saturday evening - unsure where we were allowed to 'overflow' to.

"Lovely smallish independent hotel in a beautiful village setting. Spacious, comfortable room with good bathroom. Nice, local toiletries. Fantastic cooked breakfast included. Atmospheric bar restaurant. "

"View from room was beautiful. Room condition was acceptable. Breakfast was basic buffet with cold cuts,cereal ,fruits , simple pastry ,coffee from automatic coffee machine. No hot food included in booking such as eggs or full English breakfast ,You have to pay more for that. "
"The Cocketts is a lovely hotel with lovely quirks, which we expected.
If you’re expecting smooth finishes and levels floors, choose a different hotel or place even!
We had a spontaneous last minute meet up with friends. The Cocketts were fabulously accommodating.
Our room was lovely, bed was comfortable, shower was hot, breakfast was made to order and delicious, we have no complaints.

"The hotel is stunning and the grounds around it are incrdible. The promenade walk was out of this world. Very friendly staff and helpful. The pool is very clean.
We had our cuckapoo with us and they were very loving towards him. Dogs are not allowed in the dinning room which wasnt an issue at all as we were allowed to stay on the bar side/dinning room. "Close to all facilities but quiet, beautiful views an great location food good but did wait along time for it.staff really friendly had a real homely feel to it ."

We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal.
The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home.
