"I was so appalled by the state of repair while I walked down the hallways that I almost left the hotel before I reached my room. At least the room itself was in a decent state. Then my kids wanted to try the pool and it was filthy and ill-maintained."

"Everything was fine except for the heating - I assume because of the seasonal switch to cooling, there was no option to turn the heating back on. This is unacceptable, the room was freezing."

"I would say it’s important to know that there’s heavy construction going on in the area. If you are driving a vehicle, it is very difficult to turn into the property. Very few access points. Otherwise, I would say this is a lovely hotel and I will stay here again. As I have done many times."

"Overall the place was pleasant. The beds are on the firm side but the rooms are ok. This hotel is right next to a hospital with an ER so you won’t get any peace during the day until around midnight as sirens will go off constantly. The hotel is 30 floors high and only has 4 lifts, and I believe possibly only 2 working as we had to constantly queue for the lift to get down or backup to our room. Often a lift arriving and full so having to wait again. It was also very warm in the room with limited AC which didn’t seem to do much during the day so we’d come back to a hot stuff room I wouldn’t go back as I’m sure there are better options"

"The room I had was facing the inner Courtyard which is beautifully decorated and very peaceful even with palm trees. The open pit fire that was on most of the day until evening quiet time was inviting and warm. They even had a piano that you could play down on the lower level where some of the parking was. I did not have a car so I don't know too much about parking. My room was extremely clean came it cooked with a Nespresso coffee maker complimentary two bottles of complimentary cold water had a refrigerator and good shower wonderful amenities of hand soap shampoo body wash and conditioner complimentary as well and in refillable bottles so as not to create as much waste as a lot of hotels do with the small bar soaps and small bottles of shampoos so that was appreciated and all the staff we're super friendly and helpful though it's not owned by the hotel there is a restaurant on the Main Street of Home Cooking that always smell good I didn't eat there and there is also a coffee shop connected to the hotel in the downstairs next to the lobby"
