Good hotel for a cheap price

Just stopped in for the night before heading to the airport . For $75 it's probably the cheapest in GP . I'd say for $65 I'd be happy but being in an oil field town $75 I guess is ok

Most of the staff that I encountered didn't have much of a helpfull attitude...except for the lady that checked us out. The room was nothing like what we expected. Felt that this stay in a Howard Johnson establishment will be our last one.

Most comfy beds I have slept on in a long time. Rooms were clean up on check in. But had to ask for towel and a broom after stay a couple of nights. Not a huge deal just kinda annoying after working all day. We really enjoyed our stay until the night before check out and we had some young people check in beside us. And they were super unsavory characters and loud. Didn't leave much room for sleep when you have to be up at 4am for work. But I would stay there again as the front desk staff was absolutely amazing.

Our furnace quit working. It was going to take a few days to fix and didn't want to break the bank for a hotel room so We booked a room here and they wouldnt' allow us to stay because we were from grande prairie

Old and run down and overpriced. Exterior door doesn’t even close well. Light, air, and probably rodents can easily enter. We paid $130/nt here ( Expedia) and that’s ridiculous. I almost turned around and asked for my money back once I arrived and saw the property. This should be $60/nt or less. Very disappointed. Pics online are very deceiving. Breakfast includes a muffin, yogurt, an apple or orange and coffee. When you see properties cutting corners like this where it’s super obvious, it makes you wonder where else they cut corners. Do they actually clean/change the sheets?
