  • I walked all the way up to find these gardens without really knowing what to expect, but I absolutely loved them! It's said that poet Frederico García Lorca spent quite a bit of time here. There's a grand house surrounded by multiple gardens and fountains. 🌴⛲️🍊It's a rather peaceful spot with overlooks of the city and surprises around every corner. There are plaques displaying local Spanish poetry throughout, and I even found a gang of peacocks wandering around! Definitely plan to spend a lot of time here. Update: there is also a hidden lake with a mini castle on an island in the middle, as well as ducks... 🦆

The hotel is very cozy, feels like being at home, decorated with beautiful pieces of art. Great service and a delicious breakfast with views to the city. Great location, walking distance to the downtown and 5 minute taxi to the Alhambra.

Memorable Experience!

I had an excellent stay at this charming hotel, set in a beautifully preserved villa from the early 1900s. The atmosphere was unique — it felt like stepping into a time capsule, yet with all the modern comforts one could ask for. My room was spacious, tastefully decorated, and full of character. The location was perfect: just a short stroll to the old town and only a 5-minute bus ride to the Alhambra, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing. Overall, a truly memorable experience blending history, comfort, and unbeatable location. Michel is very helpful and understanding. Gabi thank you for your great service and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Absolutely loved this hotel. Communication was excellent and the pre arrival messages with directions and information were very helpful. We met Michel on arrival who gave us some local info and made us feel very welcome. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The views were fantastic and the location perfect. I’ve stayed in many hotels all over the world and this is one of my favourites. I highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Michela and his team are the best hosts. The property is like a home away from home, decorated with awesome artwork made by the talented owner. The room is comfortable and the upstairs shared area has a great view and nice place to sit and relax with a cocktail. Highly recommend!

We received a very kind welcome from the live-in host / owner of Hotelito Suecia, who showed us everything we needed to know including the rooftop upon arrival. The rooftop area was beautiful, and we found ourselves relaxing out in the sun each day of our stay! Our room was clean and comfortable, albeit a little small. Unfortunately, our room adjoined another by way of a locked door and the walls were very thin - as a result, we could hear everything in the next room (including guests talking, snoring, alarms and toilet breaks). It is in a very nice, quiet neighbourhood about a 20-30 minute walk to Alhambra (uphill). There is limited parking on the street (3 spaces, at 12 euro per night) or there is a parking lot only a 3-5 minute walk down the road.

Estancia perfecta

Desde que llegas es todo muy acogedor, en el jardín de la entrada huele de maravilla, todos los trabajadores son muy amables y agradables, todo está muy limpio, la calefacción perfecta, baños en buen estado, bonitas vistas, azotea preciosa, café gratis.... Seguro que se me pasa algo, pero sin duda volveremos a alojarnos allí en la próxima visita a Granada. Gracias por todo chicos!!

Het is pension is rustig gelegen in een prachtig pand. De kamer is netjes en ruim genoeg. Vanaf het dakterras is het uitzicht geweldig. Kortom een mooie locatie voor een stedentrip.

Idéal pour visiter Grenade

Excellent accueil. Nous avons eu tout de suite de bons conseils pour la visite de la ville. Établissement très bien situé. Permet de visiter la Cathédrale et l’Alhambra à pied. La maison est située au fond d’une impasse. Très calme. Petit déjeuner copieux et délicieux.
