Overall a pleasant experience. Food was delicious and the property offers sweeping views of Naples.
Found this place during a road trip through southern Italy. Stayed only one night, but would have been happy to stay longer. Simple and small accommodation, but come for the setting, the views, and the mouth-watering homemade Italian fare and house wine. Delightful and helpful staff.
A beautiful gem in the hill, this is a must stop for us now, while we are in Italy. Lovely staff and the space is amazing and straight out of a book. Recommend anyone to come here
The room is in good condition and the food is amazing. We are so appreciative of staff helping my son with his laundry. In general the location feels very shut down for the season. We were hoping to do archery but we could not find anyone to help and we could not get the number to work on WhatsApp. We also would have loved being able to get a bottle of wine to enjoy in the afternoon and to sit in the out doors restaurant so we could see the view of the bay but we could not locate anyone. With no car there is not much else to do but be in your bedroom. This is a once in a lifetime trip for me and my kids and I should have chosen a less rural location. The food was so amazing though.
Casa Scola was a lovely place to relax and eat good food. We had lovely dinners there both nights of our stay, and the included breakfast was great. We went for a stroll around the property and that was lovely as well. Overall, it was a wonderful place to decompress.
Google Maps tries to get you to come up the southwest road, in the back entrance - would definitely recommend you come in through the front gates/northeast road through town. The southwest road is cobbled, steep, and has very tight switchbacks!
Everything was great. Awesome customer service, nice clean place with breathtaking view and good breakfast. It is a little nerve wrecking getting up the very steep and narrow mountain road and we didn't sleep much because the on site rooster started crowing at 5:45am.
We had a short break of three nights in April ‘22. The place is lovely, the staff friendly and welcoming. We arrived late at night as our flight got in at 10pm, they were very helpful and stayed up to let us into our room.
They don’t speak any English, but we always found a way to make ourselves understood.
The room was a good size, with a view across the Bay of Naples and of Vesuvius. You had to put your head out of the window to see it all, but it was there.
The room was clean, and cleaned daily. It’s not a 4* hotel, and the furnishings are older and basic. But it had everything we needed.
Breakfast was good with fresh juice, warm croissants and tea/coffee.
The road up to Casa Scola is very Italian! A winding, narrow, cobbled road with some tight hairpin bends. Made a little more challenging by the occasional Fiat Panda parked in a tight spot! But if you drive with care (and it helps if your car has lots of parking sensors!) it is doable. The view from the top is definitely worth it.
Super hilfsbereit und freundlich. Sehr ruhig.

Absolutely beautiful drive up the Mountain through charming villages. The Villa looks to be an old Castle — a dream place to stay! Great a/c, incredibly spotless clean, beyond heaven view, excellent security with locked gates at night for your car, kind and helpful staff!!
View is fantastic, GPS takes you the wrong way and in circles. Need to post pictures of landmarks for hair pun turns... figgrtaboudut for street sign directions... they only work if there are street signs you can see... and some you can’t. Go first time in daylight. Do not attempt on dark!!!!!!
