"A very comfortable 4 days in this, not new, but well maintained central apartment block. Self check in went smoothly due to advance communication and the managers, when met the next morning, were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent, within 10 minutes on foot from the train & bus stations, several supermarkets in the area and just minutes from the lovely waterfront and bustling piazzas. Would definitely return when in Trieste."

"This was an amazing property - extremely well located. Within easy walking of the waterfront (cruise pier), and several major attractions such as the Roman theater. The property itself is amazing. The lobby area is very nice and comfortable. Elevators are a nice size and pretty fast. The room we had had a nice queen size bed, a very efficient bathroom with a walk-in shower. The entire hotel is set up as an extension of its name - The Modernist. Extremely clean facility - the breakfast and bistro are is also quite nice. Breakfast offered a nice variety of foods all very tasty. Would not hesitate to stay here again."

"The staff at reception were super nice, every facilities/ cleaner said hello, extremely friendly. The room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. The only negative is that the hallway feels like it’s on your room at night, you can hear everything. But I loved the location, breakfast was superb and for the price I would absolutely stay here again."

"A very serviceable hotel less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. The staff member at check-in was super fast and seamless which was very appreciated considering we arrived after midnight! Breakfast was also nicer than expected, though we came down quite late and things were running low. Staff also helped us arrange a taxi when we left."
