"We booked this hotel last minute after our other accommodations cancelled on us and were so glad we did. Right in the middle of the old town within walking distance to everything. The rooms were nice and clean and the staff was so friendly and helpful."

"The room walls were stone since the building was approximately 14th century, creating a unique decor and atmosphere.
The window shutters and double glazing ensured that outside noise was cancelled. The room had controllable air conditioning. The bathroom had a large shower with both drencher and hand held heads.
All toiletries etc. were provided. The bed was firm and comfortable and there was sufficient cupboard space and lighting.
The choice of both hot and cold breakfast was considerable,...

"The staff was amazing. Our bags didn't arrive on the flight, and the staff waited for us until almost 2am!ac worked well and the location was great. The breakfast the next day was delicious!"

"This place is in a perfect location and is a unique property within the former palace. The unit was clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel next door was amazing and had so many options. The property was a bit tricky to find when we first arrived but that was largely because we weren't familiar with the area and the entrance is at the rear of the building. Would definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location. Clean room. No parking so be prepared to walk 15 minutes to park. There was someone at check in but otherwise we didn’t have staff at the front. It’s a bit hard to find as there are 3 different hotels stacked on each other. The location can’t be beat as tons of places to eat and places to see around the hotel."

"Beautiful room, large, roomy, clean with a kitchen and amazing view over the harbor and over the old town. It was the only place out of four we stayed in Croatia that had an elevator! I’m partial to hotels that have staff, this was a room and the handoff process seemed rushed and cash only for the city taxes. The unit needed a cutting board and the coffee pods tasted old. Out the harbor side window lies a bar, we could hear their house vibes going into the morning hours."

"excellent experience ! only issue ( but to be expected in a heritage building ) was the stairs - not great for carrying heavy luggage, but ana was incredibly communicative & very helpful. she gave great directions for finding the hotel, for check in & check out. would stay here again. & definitely take advantage of the rooftop."
