"Very nice hotel in great condition. Exceptionally clean, surprisingly quiet, very comfortable. The staff were fantastic. Daily free breakfast was okay, but not great. Only downsides: fairly low water pressure in the shower, especially in the morning; heating unit under the window is a little bit loud right next to bed. Overall a great value and would absolutely stay here again. "

"The room was small but nice. Clean. Fully stocked fridge and snacks and wine for purchase right in your room. Very convenient! Nice lounge with coffee, water and popcorn- sometimes. Popcorn was there Saturday but not Sunday. Old hotel but very charming and everything you need! Staff was helpful with luggage storage for late checkout. Would recommend!"

"The apartment was nice enough. It was clean and quiet. Staff was available when I had questions. However, the furniture, particularly the sofa and mattresses were not very nice at all. The master bedroom mattress had remnants of being a firm bed at one time but as since broken down and is incredibly lumpy and unsupportive. Woke up sore every morning. "I loved the convenience of the location to Loyola university. It was walking distance. The host was very nice and responsive. I loved that there were snack and breakfast left out in the kitchen for guest to consume at their leisure. What I did not like was the steep long stairs to get up to the rooms. "The perfect home base for a quick trip to see a Cubs game. You won’t find a friendlier or less expensive place this close to Wrigley and the lake. The close proximity to the Red Line L puts the entire city in reach for those non- baseball outings and site seeing. The North Halsted neighborhood, while maybe not for everyone, is such a vibrant and welcoming place. We will be back!"

"Some spaces look like they could use touchup and rehab but overall a cute little boutique hotel. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Love the coffee in the morning another nice touch would be maybe some pastries or muffins something simple to grab and go. The biggest complaint is we were on the second floor on the right side and faced the parking garage and the blinds did not block out the lights. And the noise. I don’t know if people are just loud or the door slam shut but at 3 AM midnight...
