"Everything was incredible from the moment we arrived. Early check in was available, the team arranged parking for our car. Had dinner both nights at the restaurant and can’t fault the food, my chef partner loved everything on the menu. Staff were so attentive and lovely. Good location if you’re looking for somewhere slightly out of town, a little quieter. Only a 20ish minute walk into old town. "

"We were in Chania last year and walked past this property. It looked so interesting, we tracked it down to book it for 2025 and were not disappointed. Waking up to the sea view was wonderful: sitting on the terrace with a cup of coffee watching the world go by was even better! There is a supply of plates, bowls and cutlery if you want to do some basic self-catering - and we went hunter-gathering at the amazing local market for olives, cheese and tomatoes to do just that. Sweetest staff and fresh breakfast buffet on a comfortable little terrace among the rooftops.. Hotel is in a pedestrian part of the old town, in a quiet alley off a narrow street that comes alive at night with outdoor dining. Quiet but very central. Loved this place."

"Alcanea Boutique Hotel is an absolute gem in Chania! Eva was exceptional, checking in on us when our flight was delayed, providing us with detailed recommendations of restaurants and beaches then following up with us on our return.
