"We had a lovely stay at Tor Na Coille Hotel & Restaurant. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and the staff were welcoming. We dined in the restaurant and I had the steak burger with a side of pepper sauce — it was really tasty, and the chef was great at explaining how they could adapt other dishes for gluten-free too. "After the hustle and bustle of the city, Chapel of Barras was just what the Dr. ordered. I’m traveling for pleasure, but also to finish a book I’ve been putting off, and this was a perfect stop. It was peaceful, quiet, perfect for my early morning yoga—followed by a delightful and filling homemade breakfast—a couple hours walking, then plenty of uninterrupted time to put pen to paper. Michelle and David were especially lovely: 10/10 would recommen. "

"Absolutely loved this quirky castle. The owners was so friendly and welcoming. Very knowledgeable about the castles history and did a personal tour which I loved. His love for the property showed so much in this tour. Breakfast was delicious and left nothing to ask for. Would stay here again. No complaints. "

"We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place."
