Our host was amazing! Very friendly and the it was a lovely stay. The beach is beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was a lovely addition as well.

Fantastic studio apartment close to the harbor with shops and eateries. The property had great hiking trails with incredible views and a private rocky beach with tide pools. Only downside was a lumpy bed-not great for a good night’s sleep!

Warm and friendly hosts nothing too much bother yummy breakfast the rooms are immaculate….. cosy comfy beds what else could one ask for???? I added another 2nights to my booking as didn’t want to leave

Amazing location right out on the cliffs. The hosts were amazing people and very accommodating to all of our needs. The castle was the top 5 best we have ever seen in the world so far!

What a great host Angela was. We felt welcomed from the time we arrived. Our room was very clean and everything that was promised. The cliff trail was stunning and most needed after a long drive. The only issue I had was a lack of hot water when I showered. However, after breakfast it was fine.

This break away from it all was jlexactly what was needed. What's not to like, the setting with a burn running by and peacocks. The apartment was lovely clean and even a little fabulous. We were well cared for by our host too

I really enjoyed my last minute booking at Toadhals. I thought I was lost, following Google Maps down a rough, unpaved road just off the highway, but the directions were correct. The hostess came out to welcome me and showed me to my room, which was large and comfortable. She recommended a good place to eat supper in Stonehaven, and also directed me to a great walk around the property that went up on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Breakfast was prepared fresh, and was very good. I would definitely go back.

The drive into this beautiful place is a bit bumpy, and you need a car/truck that is not too low or it could be tricky. The rooms were fantastic and accessed by stairs, which you need to know if you are travelling with anyone who has health considerations. The bathroom was perfect, and the hostess was AMAZING!!! The breakfast was lovely, nothing like fresh eggs from her own chickens. It was a lovely spot with a cute little hike to a private beach area. Very suitable for a recharge getaway. No restaurants, but did have a fridge to put items into. Would definitely rebook.

2 Wonderful Nights at The Toadhall Rooms B&B

We had a wonderful time at Toadhall B&B! We were warmly welcomed by our host, Angela who made us feel quite at home. Our room was spacious, clean and very comfortable! I loved the rain shower in the bathroom. We certainly slept well during our 2 night stay. Dinner recommendations were excellent and on point. Breakfast was made to order and delicious. This morning, she served us baked peaches with a maple sauce, which was incredibly delicious! There are peacocks roaming about and 2 cheeky geese that were very interested in getting their treats. What an absolute delight for us! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will not hesitate to book again when we are in the area!

- wenn man keine Spinnen und Spinnweben mag, ist man an der falschen Adresse, auch muss man Züge mögen - 1 Brot für 4 Leute für 2 mal Frühstück ist sehr übersichtlich, auch 500 ml Milch für 2 mal Frühstück … - Umgebung auch nicht wirklich charming, ausserdem sehr schlecht ausgeschildert. Luxury Suite nicht wirklich Nicht sein Geld wert Auch dass die Heizung bei gefühlten 4 C Aussentemperatur nicht tut, ist nicht angenehm. - die Dusche ist verschimmelt und riecht auch dementsprechend

Amazing accommodation. Huge ceilings z lots of natural light . Hosts went above and beyond by providing us with cereal and bread etc . Also , list of things to do , places to go , places to eat etc Beds were so comfy . We were made to feel so welcome and comfy

Lovely stay

We had a wonderful stay at Toad Hall. Angela and her husband have created a special place to visit. We stayed in the Doghouse and it more than met our expectations. Everything was clean, comfortable and welcoming. Angela went out of her way to make us feel at home. Her cooking is divine! Our breakfasts were 5 stars. And her recommendations for local eateries and things to do were perfect. The property itself is very quiet and pretty. And an easy walk to the sea with stunning views. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice b&b close to the motorway

Proprietario gentilissimo e simpaticissimo. Camera confortevole , letti molto comodi , colazione abbondante e varia. Volendo, erano offerte le uova a km. 0 di Ale! La stradina di accesso forse è da migliorare.

Five star accommodation, a hidden treasure

Down a pebbled little road, I was initially a little concerned about what I had booked. But as soon as we pulled into the private courtyard we were greeted by the host and.shown to a beautiful.family suite which opened onto the courtyard. Modern, clean and stylish the suite was a perfect end to a.long.journey. There was a mini kitchen including a coffee.machine, table and chairs, huge bed and a.luxe bathroom. Before we are we took our cameras to photograph the coast, a three minute walk away. The breakfast the next day was fresh and delicious. I don't eat pork was was presented with a large.field mushroom stuffed with spinach, buttery scrambled eggs, beans and thick toast. After breakfast, the hostess showed us a a little secret waterfall, which as a family of photographers, was a treat. A wonderful stay with brilliant hosts.
