"The room has potential. Much about the room was fine. Here are the issues that we experienced: road noise, tobacco smoke rising from the restaurant, inadequate interior lighting, no hooks for towels, too few hooks for clothes, the sheets were not clearly clean. If you stay here, request a room on the back, away from the road and restaurant. The place has potential, but the little details matter. "

"They provided an infant bed that was spacious enough for our 2-year-old, which was very helpful. The view from our room overlooking the lake and mountains was absolutely stunning. There was also a sauna in the basement, although it wasn’t mentioned at check-in. "The hotel is in a great location near the lake. The room was fine and had a balcony. The breakfast was good, as was dinner but you are advised to get there at 19.00 when it opens. The staff were mostly fine, it would have been nice to know about the extra costs for the sauna before getting to the wellness centre, the swimming pool was great though."

"The staff was very friendly and the room was clean. Beds were not the most comfortable and amenities were an additional cost. The photos of the pool/ other areas around the property on here are not very accurate."

"I am not typically a fan of antiques and classic hotels but I liked this one. Sitting in the classic decor and looking out over the lake was a nice. We only had breakfast but the food prep and presentation were great. There seems to be a focus on dinning I thought from the food and the staff."

"Small hotel arranged like a mini alpine village with gardens weaving around. Room had edge stone feature wall, unfinished wood furniture and outdoor patio, a nature feel. You will hear neighbours upstairs and beside, otherwise a very quiet location. Good breakfast (eggs, hot and cold deli meats, cheese, smoked fish, fruit, granola, yoghurt, pastries, breads) with one of those delightful multi-coffee machines. "I would not recommend this place. Receptionist met us when we arrived. Told us there was staffing issues at their hotel in Blef. Gave us the code to the front doorand a number to call for emergencies. We went to dinner, came back at 930pm. There was not lights on inside or outside the hotel. We had the only car in the parking lot. We made our way up to the front door and had to find out where the light switches were. We fell on the steps . DEFINITELY A SAFETY ISSUE. We walked around the hotel...

"The air conditioner wouldn’t go below 22, we woke up pouring sweat. Everything was an add-on. Renting a bike for an hour was slightly cheaper than 4 hours; not free for guests. Breakfast for charge, mini bar is full but they’ll email you after your departure to settle that cost as well. Meh."
