"We were very disappointed with the condition of the corridors and room. There was a particularly unpleasant smell in both. The staff were pleasant and checked us in efficiently . We went for breakfast about 7:30 but it looked as if it had been well picked over and croissant and other things had not been refilled. "Sweet room. Lovely pool. Breakfast pleasant with some home cooked specialities, which was a nice touch. The host was a lovely lady, very helpful, knowledgable and interesting. "

We felt at ease with the owner (Dany?), she spoke very good English and told us why she had decided to turn what was originally her family home into a small hotel. "Right across the river from the Musée de la Bande Dessinée! Requires a bit of an uphill hike to get to the center of town but there are also easy nearby bus stops to take you there. Service was fantastic, breakfast was tasty and the hotel is pretty neat. No AC though. "
