"The Crane is a lovely hotel with a long history. The hotel staff are friendly and very accommodating. The hotel has a few nice restaurants nearby but most attractions or city visits require a taxi ride. The concierge can make restaurant reservations and taxi requests for you but look online to book most excursions and if you can book transport with the tour companies. "We loved being on the ground floor and walking out to the pool for a morning swim. Large room with kitchenette. Really fun location. I was impressed to receive a message even before I got home that I had left my phone charger behind! Not for beach swimmers or those with problems climbing stairs to a 2nd or 3rd floor room though!
