"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An Absolutely Wonderful Honeymoon Experience! There was absolutely nothing not to love about this beautiful property! From the moment we arrived, the staff was amazing, welcoming, and attentive. The complimentary breakfast was incredible and far exceeded our expectations! The grounds and pool area are simply stunning—romantic, peaceful, and the perfect setting to relax and unwind. The beach is just a short, enjoyable downhill walk away, making the location even more special. We...

"love our stay!"

"Really enjoyed our stay here - lovely room with high quality furnishings and linen. The breakfast and happy hour were really great touches! Parking a bit tricky - small spaces and limited. Having said that, we always got parked! Great location in the centre of Carmel! Staff also super helpful arranging to post an item we accidentally left behind. We would absolutely stay again!"

"We were in a standard room (218) 2nd floor over trash/restaurant . At night when trash taken out all you could hear was trash cans full with bottles taken out to street and @ 6:30 heard trash truck load bottles and trash.🙃🍾"

"Unacceptable lack of privacy. The restaurant staff walkway is directly next to back window of the room, with workers talking and looking into room window. There is no AC in the room and I couldn't keep the windows or shades open due to lack of privacy. Restaurant recycling and grease container are directly under the bathroom window. The closet has two 10" hanging rods - terribly inadequate for my wife and I. Staff brought in a rolling rack - this must be a standard complaint. The marble...

"Everything was amazing except for the Wi-Fi. Unfortunately, the signal only reached the entrance of our room, so we couldn’t reliably use it inside."

"The room and bathroom were so spacious - the bathroom was actually huge - a rarity in hotels. The property was beautiful and so close to the beach. One of the staff members helped me to track a door dash delivery that got lost due to the confusing street number systems in Carmel and me not speaking the language of the driver. Highly recommend."

"The breakfast was good with pastries from rise and roam and good coffee. However, we didn’t receive our pet amenities and our room vibrated. The host did refund our pet charge and our resort fees which was very much appreciated since we didn’t quite understand what we would be paying for. The room was very cute itself as well as the courtyard."

"Great room"

"Fantastic service and friendly stay. Excellent complimentary breakfast delivered right to our door"

"This property was a nice, centrally-located spot for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea. There were a couple of cosmetic blemishes in our room (a small hole at the bottom of the outside panel of the door, and a crack in the porcelain of the bathroom sink). There was also no air-conditioning, though while we were there, it was not needed. The room was spacious and comfortable. Overall, an enjoyable stay."

"Very clean, cozy, well appointed cottage, perfect for our overnight trip to Carmel, can't wait to come back!!"

"Great breakfast!"

"This is our go hotel when we visit Carmel. It is far enough away from the busy streets, but close enough to all the shops and restaurants. The grounds are very well kept and very Zen for a peaceful time. They are pet friendly so this is a plus for us, we highly recommend the Tradewinds hotel. Oh, did I mention the breakfast every morning, that is a special treat?"

"Good location, good service, room is clean. "
