"Great new hotel. Very clean and friendly staff. Will be back"

"Beautiful place, and I slept well. Friendly owner. Would recommend."

"What a lovely property and Cecilia was wonderful. Welcoming and kind -- felt like staying with family!"

"First the staff- immensely polite and helpful. Clean, elegant, detail oriented lobby, restaurant (s) and rooms. Very minimalist in design but everything is extremely well thought out and Marriott quality. Rooms were very quiet. Great rooftop bar and pool- minutes from the airport and whatever you do, don’t miss their 5 star breakfast buffet - it’s worth it! Also - close to modern mall to find anything you may have forgotten at home some great food trucks just outside, little market, pharmacy etc...

"I have rented a few times from this property and this was the first time we got a two bedroom. The location is perfect when returning to San Jose. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks as always."

"Beautiful old home made into a hotel. No elevator. We were on second floor with sweeping curved staircase. Quiet and clean, Sparsely furnished rooms. Great price. We walked about a mile to nearby reastaurants and shopping. Offered breakfast if you requested the day before."

"This is a very special and unique property. Kenneth and his family are excellent hosts. Our room was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was so fresh and delicious, and served outside on the patio. Kenneth was gracious enough to send us home with some beautiful mangos too. By the time we had to leave we felt like family. We will definitely return. Many thanks to Cariari Bed and Breakfast 🙏"

"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The location was excellent, situated on a main road with convenient access to the airport. Even during rush hour, the drive to the airport took no more than about 10 minutes, which made our departure stress-free. The hotel was comfortable, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall experience was positive. We would gladly stay here again and would recommend it to anyone...

"Adventure Inn feels like a true taste of Costa Rican pura vida rather than a generic chain hotel. It serves as a fantastic landing pad or departure base for travelers."

"Bastante bonita la habitación, buena ubicación y rico y abundante desayuno"

"Tout parfait, calme, grande piscine"

"The property did not have any fully handicapped accessible restrooms. None of the restrooms had grab bars, nor elevated toilet seats. Much else was fine, but if I had known about the lack of adequate accessibility I would have definitely stayed elsewhere."

"Nice owner and very friendly. Good location"

"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and we never felt otherwise during our stay. The building itself is a bit worn and has more of a hostel-style feel. While that may work well for some travelers, we were personally hoping for more of a bed-and-breakfast atmosphere"

"La habitación tenía su ventanal quebrado, me encontré una uña postiza en la cama, manchadas las sábanas y en general muy mal mantenimiento de la propiedad, para el check out ni había personal"

"Wonderful property at the botanical gardens overlooking the San Jose city with nice walking trails. Tons of birds and butterflies. The on-site restaurant is top notch. I don’t need one, but rooms do not have televisions. Use caution if driving as the roads are steep and narrow. Cars and trucks often park in the road creating one lane there aren’t any sidewalks so people and dogs also share the roads so be mindful if driving."

"Great for value place where the host even helped us park our car into their secure parking lot and helped us retrieve our car. Would have preferred if there was a code to get in so we didn't have to communicate our check in time. Appreciated the AC, common kitchen. We didn't know how to use the hot water but realized afterwards that there was hot water."
