"Although we asked to have trash removed and clean towels three days into our 5 day stay, and although they said they would, it didn’t happen. The room was nice, quiet and convenient."

"As of May 2026, property was being renovated. We received a remodeled room, which was clean and adequately appointed. We had stayed here about 3 years earlier, so the fact that we returned is a positive. Staff were friendly. The hotel is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. Its not in the center of town, buy you walk (about 20+ minutes)."

At night the girl serving as hostess was also the one who checked us in. Although the hotel wasn't in the heart of the main shopping, restaurant and pub area it was a quick taxi ride to get there. Parking on site was very convenient."

Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend"

"The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast each morning was a good selection and very delicious. The location was convenient for us. (@ 10 minutes to Eyre Square and area). We had the top floor room (quadruple room but three beds) which meant a lot of stairs (28 each way) each time we left the room. "It's a very basic one- or two-star hotel; an older building with very basic bedding, no A/C, small bathroom and shower, no lift, and a basic breakfast setup with continental and buffet items. There was free parking, which I appreciated. It was fine, but somehow I way overpaid (335 EUR / 395 USD) for what it was; I thought it would be a nicer and maybe more personalized B&B experience, but as it was I was disappointed.
