"We stayed 3 nights in mid April. First, do not let the rainy season deter you. The rains did come in the late afternoons and the trekking was a little muddy, but I think it is likely the best time to gorilla trek and/or look for the golden monkeys. "Very beautiful property. The staff were lovely very happy to help. Nice rooms everything was great. I was able to get a gorilla trek at the last minute which was fantastic due to the last minute calls arrangement by the supervisor ladies at the desk. Well furnished and updated colonial house.."

"The property is well maintained and conveniently located just a short walk from the Musanze bus terminal. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. The food prepared by the guest house cook was excellent! Our only concern was the lack of hot water in the shower, but that may have been due to the fact that we didn't know to plug in the water heater."

"This hotel is absolutely horrible! It is incredibly overpriced, at the same rate as a Luxury Hotel, but they have service comparable to a Motel in Rural Alabama. "We were only here for one night, but Frances was a great host. The room as clean and comfortable, and he provided a good breakfast. We opted not to go to Volcanoes National Park, but Frances provided us with a great guide, who took us to Twin Lakes. On that trip we met MANY wonderful Rwandans out in the countryside, and saw beautiful scenery. The next morning our guide, Janvier, took us to the park where the baby gorilla naming ceremony is held, then out into the countryside again. FANTASTIC!"

"Exceedingly lovely staff. So many nice surprises like burning fireplaces in the rooms with hot water bottles in the beds, foot rubs and shoe cleanings after our hike. Mattresses were amazing. "I booked a small single room which was perrfectly adequate for my needs. The wifi was challenging, but the reception worked on it and got it to work for me. Very friendly and helpful staff, the food was good, and they were open to fix us something not on the menu. Its located off the main road outside of the town center, but is still a walkable distance from the business centers. "

"Nightmarish experience. I was traveling with a friend who wanted his own room. We booked this hotel at the last minute as it was close to the NP HQs. We arrived at 7 pm to find no front desk, just a bar area that was manned by a young lady who stated that we couldn’t stay as the owner had not been paid. Then the owner called stating that it was late so we could stay and that payment could be discussed in the morning. The hotel did not have wifi as advertised, there was no running or hot water...

Alleen cashbetalingen zonder bonnetje, geen WiFi, geen warm water, smerige badkamer, geen restaurant beschikbaar, beveiliging gaat nog voor 18:00 uur naar huis en laat de poort wijd open.
