The staff here are phenomenal. Check in was super easy. I was waiting in permits to move our load and the staff let me stay and extra hour. It was muchly appreciated. Will defently be booking again if i ever come through.

The lovely lady that checked me in was so friendly and helpful even though it was her very first day at the front desk. The building is dated on the outside; but the room itself was surprisingly well equipped! It was comfortable and spacious and the little details were appreciated, especially the double sink! This is one of the very few places I've stayed in my frequent travels where I heard not a PEEP from a neighbor or from animals, or road noisr .....not even from the trains which are just across the street! I loved having street access right into my room with parking right outside my door. I usually prefer vacation home [VRBO] accommodations; but I would enjoy staying here again. And I acquired this room for under $50 for the night through Expedia!

On a very noisy street, the ac/heating unit very loud got woke up many times. The exuahst fan in bathroom loud, need a separate switch than the light switch. Needs better lighting . The coffee maker in room did not work. The bed was great, could have used another blanket.

Great for on a budget

We arrived very late and the night shift clerk was so accommodating, his service and helpfulness was above what we could have hoped. The breakfast is well stocked and very clean. The only issue would be the room, it was very outdated!

So we had checked into the red lion there AC in the hall motel was not working and my husband passed out and ended up in ICU. I called the Alamo talked with Carrie when we got to the Alamo she had went above and beyond she had a room ready and waiting for us early and she had the AC on and running in our room for my husband, even though he didn’t get to enjoy it because he was in ICU, but her thoughtfulness was above and beyond and had also reached out and said anybody else in our party because we were there for a benefit for my husband, she had rooms for them all. And yes, some of our guests did check in and were very satisfied. I would definitely stay at the Alamo again.

Was a nice place and clean. Every day they clean the rooms. The Receptionist was very kind. I don't remember her name but the weekdays say shift lady has a 5+ stars in service. The breakfast was good. Waffle machine available, coffee, milk, cereal, variety of bread, scrambled eggs, biscuits, gravy, and sausages. I really enjoyed my time there. Is a quiet calm place. 100% recommended
