"A gem of a place. Breakfast was delicious and food cooked to order. Added bonus is the owner is a chef. You have the opportunity to a delicious evening meal cooked without the need to drive somewhere."

"This is a small independent, dog friendly hotel. Its quite old fashioned, but the fact that it is independent makes up for any minor flaws...the staff were brilliant, frindly and efficient."

The property is in the process of being updated but this didn't affect our stay except perhaps to see how well it appears to be going and I'm sure when this is finished they will have a hotel to be proud of. They have only owned this hotel for about 6 months and it is obvious they are making huge efforts to update...
