"We were very pleased with our overnight stay here. It was just one night so we chose a family room for the four of us, including our two young adult children. The room was exactly as pictured except even more comfortable than expected! The balcony wrapped around two sides with stunning views. We enjoyed the convenience of the little beer garden restaurant right next-door. It was very convenient to get to Bertchesgaten for our morning tour."

"Breakfast was superb. Property exceptionally clean but communication from staff poor. We were not told about the local travel cards until we read about these locally. The lounge area is completely locked up before 9pm so there are no communal areas after then. Not sure if any staff remain in the premises overnight?"

"Our room was very clean, attractive and modern, and the view was beautiful in the valley. The hotel staff were friendly. There are walking trails all around. The road to the nearest waterfall was closed for repairs. The door to one of our room 7 family suite balconies was broken and barely possible to open or securely close which made cooling the room difficult in the 35C heat. The walls were very thin and our neighbors were loudly about their business at 4:30 am, and the hotel is on a major...

"Wir waren auf unserer Heimreise für eine Nacht im Haus. Viel zu kurz! Der ‚Ochsenwirt‘ ist nur zu empfehlen, war ja auch komplett ausgebucht. Trotzdem lief alles sehr reibungslos und mit Humor ab. Unserer Labradorhündin hat es ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen und wir werden sicher wieder buchen. Dann aber einige Tage."

"Ein sehr angenehmeres und nettes Hotel. Das Essen war sehr gut und über die Freundlichkeit der Angestellten kann man nicht klagen. Doch leider ist die Sauberkeit der Zimmer nicht so schön, leere Tablettenschachteln, Bierdeckel und Pfandflasche wurden unter die Schlafsofa entdeckt was auch eine zügige Zimmerreinigung hindeutet."
