Couldn't fault the staff, cleanliness or amenities. For the price, it's a great value option. The parking charge is too steep but it's possible to free-park on the street only a few hundred metres away.

The Sands Torquay
Spatious room, some outdoor space. It was a ground floor room so it was unfortunate that the 'golf view' was obstructed by trees and bushes but this did mean more privacy when outside.

Cleaners left a row of smelly rubbish bags along the corridor on way in, which sat there for hours and hours. They left residue on carpet when bags were finally removed.
