So, top tip go early morning in January to avoid the crowds, but wear your thermals! But ..... 10 mins after this photo we were besieged by hordes of Mongolian teenagers on a trip, all wanting group photos and all claiming to be "daughters of Genghis Khan". Bizarre, but then so is the myth that you can see the Great Wall from space! #china #greatwall
